Cannot publish : database error
Updated automatically every 5 minutes

If you’re stuck in publish process with “database error”. You can fix the error by yourself as the following guideline.

 

1. Backup the database file. (MUST)

1.1 Check and remember/copy the database name in Step 3 -> System -> Database

1.2 Login to cPanel -> Files > Backups, select the database name to backup.

2. Go to RVSitebuilder program again, to publish website with the option "Optional for publish issue" in the publish window. Under the option will have the following check box, just check the box and publish the project.

# Force re-setup Database [If your website published fine, you don't need to use this.]

**CAUTION:: This publish option will reset/delete your current database configuration. Please make sure you have the database backup already by No.1 above, to prevent Blog entries, Guestbook comments, etc. lost.

Optional:: In case, you want to restore the database you did the backup in number 1 and 2 above. You can login to cPanel -> Files > Backups, and browse the file here, and hit "Upload". The previous database will be placed in your project again.

3. If above still doesn't fix the error. Please submit ticket to us with control panel credential.
