Validation & ID Protection (VIP) is a Symantec's Two-factor Authentication Service helps protect your customer accounts and their identity by requiring a unique security code, in addition to the user name and password, to access their online accounts. While user names and passwords can be guessed or otherwise discovered, only your customers have access to the application that generates the security codes required to validate their identity.
Each time your customers login to their WHM/cPanel, webmail, CMS, and more, they must enter their user name, password, and a new security code. For details on VIP member Web sites, click the Where to Use tab at the top of this page.
