Symantec VIP itself supports various system such as VPN, SSH, and etc. However, under cPanel/WHM, we need to wait until cPanel/WHM can support PAM authentication.

There is a discussion specifically on this. It was scheduled to be released on cPanel/WHM 11.36 but was changed to no ETA.
